Chairman Whichard stated that the board felt the time has come to recognize those individuals who have displayed extraordinary service in the area of the collection, preservation, interpatation and writing of the important legal history of the state.
He went on to say that he knew of no other organization that could point to one person who was a constant factor in the organization and continual operation of the organization, but the Supreme Court Historical Society had such a person and that was Danny Moody.
